Running A10-7700k apu in crossfire with R7-240

Skvrahul

Hey guys!

Id appreciate some help with this as im not sure how to proceed.

PC Parts-

MSI A88XM E35 mobo

AMD A10-7700k APU

Sapphire r7 240 1gb ddr5 graphics card

I'D like to run the graphics card in crossfire with the apu as im made to believe that this will result in improved performance.

I read on AMDs page on dual graphics that simply installing Catalyst and enabling dual graphics was all i had to do.

I installed the latest version of catalyst control center along with drivers but i dont see the "Dual Graphics" option under "Performance"

Are there any prior steps i ought to have taken?

Thanks in advance!

This was in CPU-Z and yes both were recognized.

I presume the 512 mb one is the APU's Graphics.
