Anyone have experience returning Cooler Master PSU on Coilwhine?

Pretty much as the title says, I brought a second hand PSU that 'apparently' had less than 50 hours useage on it buuuuut it's loud as shit, so either I try get a refund off him or go to cooler master. But im not sure what I should do just yet, lesson learned for second hand PSUs.
