Ok, so I've been using a Ducky Shine with Cherry MX Blues for a while and I really like it. The problem is, it died and I have no idea what is wrong with it. So, seeing as I needed a new keyboard ASAP, I went to the local store and bought Razer's Blackwidow Ultimate. Its a mechanical keyboard, but it uses Razer's own key switch and I'm not sure how I like it. I'm used to using the MX Blues and these require a lot more force and feel mushy. So I began looking, what keyboard do I really want. I can go with the Ducky, which I know I'll like. But then I started looking at RGB keyboards and I found the Corsair K70. GREAT, everything I want, RGB, no extra crap, Cherry MX Blu......oh, wait. Apparently they do not sell the K70 or K95 with MX Blues anymore. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot....So, now, I had this great idea of a full RGB keyboard, only to have that dream dashed. I can either go with the Ducky, which will only have a single color, or I can go to a different switch type. The problem is, I don't have experience with any of the other keys. It really wouldn't be a huge deal, but I'll be starting my Master's program this summer, so a lot of typing, and as I'm typing this, my fingers are getting weary from these damn Razer keys. So, how much a difference is there between the MX Blues and the Browns. I've read reviews that say there is a small difference and ones that say there is a huge difference. The problem is the local store doesn't have a huge selection of mechanical keyboards, they don't even carry the Ducky or Corsair, so I would be ordering blind so to speak, unless I got the Ducky. Just wanted to see if anyone had experience with both and could shed some light on the issue. Thanks.

Ducky should be fine.

Browns and blues are similar, but browns are quiet and slightly lighter.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
