Hey there.

So my friend and I spent today building a computer and the display isn't coming up, we took the GPU out and used onboard still nothing, then we took out the ram and there was no beep code. We think the motherboard is damaged but all the fans run and they are going though the motherboard any ideas on what's wrong?

we have a intel i7 and a asrock H81M - S2H

Gonna need a bit more details dude.

what have you tried?

did you ground yourself when building

Did you try it with the bare minimum components?

Is it plugged in?

Did you get the CPU around the wrong way then force it in?

Did you try jumpstarting your PSU with a defibrillator?

Sorry

We discharged by touching a metal surface

we did not ground while building (No esd straps)

We tried:

just starting it up as it was

we took out the gpu to run on the onboard and it didnt work

we took out ram to check for a beep code and there was nothing

We did it with just the motherboard pluged in (No ssd or disk drive)

we made sure the cpu was in the right way

and we not jump start

And it is plugged in

we are trying to get video out using hdmi

can we have the full spec of the PC

does your case have a speaker?

i will suggest taking everything and testing them on the mobo box first

Clear CMOS to make sure any wrong settings is flushed out

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
