GPU Serial vs parallel tube question

Go to solution Solved by Lord_Karango17,

Hi,

So I got 2 980s that I'm going to put in my system and watercool

I'm going to run acrylic tube between the two cards and have some questions regarding on how they should be placed. I've drawn three possible options (that I see) of which I prefer option 2.

But, will this work?

I know for sure that option 1 will work since it's just a simple serial connection but option 2 should also work since the blocks are the same and therefore offer the same resistance.

Here are some quick drawings:

Option 1

Option 2

Option 3

option 3 will not work because the fluid will completely avoid going through the blocks and go right through

both option 1 and 2 will work fine

I would go with serial unless there's an obvious benefit to doing parallel.
