Hey

I wanna build my first pc and obviously I don't want it to fall apart with all new parts inside. I mean there are some nice cases on the market with good reviews but none with the theme I want and if they are one's I like, they're above my price budget. Is it a risk to go for an unknown brand from eBay or should I stick with the ones with solid reviews? Also would it be a better idea to buy a case with led fans installed already or just buy some quality ones?

P.S. if you have any suggestions on MIDI towers with a window and a black and purple colour schemes they would be much appreciated :D

Cheap cases are FINE! Just make sure they have decent airflow/ build quality.

I recommend the Thermaltake VL80001W2Z, for a nice budget case. However, it doesn't have any front Panel USB 3.0 Headers.

Just remember: Random people on the internet ALWAYS know more than professionals, when someone's lying, AND can predict the future.

Cheap cases can be fragile, have bad airflow, and not support much like not having many drive cages.

Some cheap cases also don't look very good, they have a window, but the inside is that horrible dark grey colour.

Cheap Cases Risk? None, just get the one with good layout and cable management panel

But i think theres one risk:

  1. Fcked Up RMA process

Depends on what you mean by cheap. That crappy gray metal insides with sharp edges, no cable mgmt. capabilities, pathetic airflow but it has swoopy plastic pieces on the outside with LED fans case? That one? Run away! But a decent laid out case can be cost effective. It just won't have a lot of flash. Something like the Corsair 200R is one. Fractal, BitFenix, basically any of the mainstream makers have a economy model that works very well and is far superior to the el cheapo Chinese cases out there.

Sir William of Orange: Corsair 230T - Rebel Orange, 4690K, GA-97X SOC, 16gb Dom Plats 1866C9,  2 MX100 256gb, Seagate 2tb Desktop, EVGA Supernova 750-G2, Be Quiet! Dark Rock 3, DK 9008 keyboard, Pioneer BR drive. Yeah, on board graphics - deal with it!
