Anyone else having/had issues with R* Support?

Well, as I think everyone knows by now, GTA V released on PC the other day.
Now, I've had some problems with even being able to get into my rockstar social club account.

Needless to say, Rockstar support has not been very helpful.
They sent me the same message asking for the same info 4 times.

They also won't reply to my tweets on twitter or anything else. I also can't view the status of my ticket because that requires you to log in to R* social club, which is what my ticket is about.

And yes, I have provided all the info.

I realize they're busy and all, but I sent this ticket in on Saturday.

Has anyone else had any extensive dealings with R* support? If so, are they usually like this?

I kinda don't know whether my ticket got pushed to the bottom of the pile or something. RN on their twitter they seem to be dealing with people with technical problems. At least I don't have those (yet).

Thoughts?

EDIT: I got a reply, I don't know if this will end up in the same place as the others or not. Wish my luck

Give em a little bit of time, it can sometimes take a week or two for companies to get to your ticket, especially with a game launch like this.

Specs: CPU - Intel i7 8700K @ 5GHz | GPU - Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | Motherboard - ASUS Strix Z370-G WIFI AC | RAM - XPG Gammix DDR4-3000MHz 32GB (2x16GB) | Main Drive - Samsung 850 Evo 500GB M.2 | Other Drives - 7TB/3 Drives | CPU Cooler - Corsair H100i Pro | Case - Fractal Design Define C Mini TG | Power Supply - EVGA G3 850W

If it takes that long to get to a ticket "normally", then you really need to fix that. The most you really should have under normal circumstances is 3 days, and even that's pushing it. During such a large game release? I can for sure understand. It's less of a "they're taking too long!" and more of a "I've sent you the same info 2 times and you want it again?".

They have a massive workload compared to usual. Isn't steam pushing like 1 million purchases? That's a huge influx of customers you have to work with

I realize this, but it happened before the game released as well.

Ah, I never delt with them, but some people have expectations that are unrealistic. And honestly for support I just want to talk to a person. If it wasn't complicated enough to warrant that, you could more then likely find the solution from people with the same problem from googling.

Thats my tech support solution. I called pay pal, first lady had no idea how to help, the second solved my issue in under 30 seconds. 5 minutes of my time solved the issue.

Yes, I've had to do that with my bank before. If you get someone competent it's a great experience.

Wow that is surprising ive had an amazing experience with them! Extremely helpful and gave me back $250k :) i'd say it is just due to launch of PC just getting super overwhelmed by people not researching. I bet there getting a bunch of messages from people without normal letters in there name even though if those people would do a quick google search they would know there working on it.

It's a shame that companies care more about tweets than proper channels. Have more support MS hires literally thousands of extra hands for product launches, we were even offered overtime on CoD releases to help with the additional bulk of Live issue calls

It's been almost 24H, no response either on twitter or be email.

I tweeted them maybe 2 hours ago, again no response, which is funny, because they're responded to people as soon as 1 minute ago (as of typing this).

Why did you tag him?

His story is exactly the same as yours.
