I've heard that Arctic Silver 5 is good.

IC Diamond 7 or 24( really they are the same) and MainGEAR T1000 or Indigo Xtreme. EK has the exact same phase change TIM as Indigo and MainGEAR too.

A water-cooled mid-tier gaming PC.

Noctua NT-H1 is the best for me, plus it's non conductive.

Whatever comes with your CPU cooler. It really doesn't matter as much as people like to think it does.

Alright cool, i'll look into these.

I.C diamond otherwise MX-4 or MX-2

 

The first is the best, the latter two are equally good (one is more spreadable than the other) but are both non-conductive and won't scratch anything unlike the I.C diamond.
