Hello

I have 2 GTX 760s that I'm getting for a great deal. I also have 2 monitors. If I plug each monitor into each graphics card, will my gaming experience still yield the results of a "normal" SLI? Is the SLI only effective if a monitor is linked to 1 GPU?

SLI wil disable the monitor outputs of the second 760. But you can connect both monitors to the first 760 without problems.

Normally the top card is the primary.

Top as in : Seated in the PCI-e slot closest to the cpu

Is there a specific way to differentiate the "first" and "second" card?

If you run both monitors in surround, you can use certain output ports on the second card.
