So intel is so easy to figure out stuff about chip sets and CPU's but not AMD. What is amds newest chip set and most standered socket.

AM3+ (that's the FX chips) and FM2 (their APU's) (Those are like the LGA 1150/1155 for AMD)

I think the highest end for AMD AM3+ is 990X and 970 (This is like the X99 or Z97 or whatever of AMD)
