Cheap steering wheel + pedals that don't suck

flibberdipper

My steering wheel died a while back, and I am more or less looking for a new one. I'd like one to have at least 4 buttons on the front, "paddle" shifters, gas + brake pedals (clutch would be nice, but optional), and all that good jazz. No real budget, but I would really like for it to be as low as possible.

EDIT: And this is why I need a steering wheel.

Logitech G25 or G27 are going to be the best bang for your buck.  If you really want to go cheap (but solid) then I recommend a Logitech Driving Force Pro which has been discontinued but still shows up on Ebay, etc. every so often.

System: i5 6600K@3.6 GHz, Gigabyte Z170XP SLI, 2x8 Corsair DDR 3000, Corsair Hydro H60i cooler, Rosewill CAPSTONE 750w Gold PSU, 1x 512GB SSD, 1x 2TB 7200RPM, Windows 10 Pro x64
Display: XFX R9 390 DD, triple 1920x1200 24" HP monitors (5760x1200 @ 60Hz)   Sound: Audio-gd NFB-11 -> AKG K7XX or 2.1 speaker system

 Just because you don't care, doesn't mean other others don't. Don't be a self-centered asshole. -Thank You a PSA from the people who do not say random shit on the internet.

This is the original Logitech DFP (Driving Force Pro).  900 degrees of rotation, seriously great force feedback and yes, it will work on PC all the way from Windows XP up to Windows 8.  Get the "Logitech Gaming Software" from Logitech and you are good to go.  They stopped making it when they realized that the PC sim market was growing and people were raving about how good this wheel worked (even though it was made for the Playstation 2!) and they released the more expensive G25 (and G27) instead.

Very rare to find new any more but there are plenty of used ones out there floating around.  Still probably the best buy on a tight budget.  If you can afford $200 or more get a used/new G25 or G27 instead.  Higher budget than that?  Time to look at Thrustmaster and Fanatec.
