Looking to learn more about overclocking my system

RicHaj

Hello all.

I'm trying to learn more about overclocking on my PC, and would like to learn what i can actually do with my machine. I built it in part for this very purpose, so that i if i needed to pull some extra power out of it i could, and my system has the option of ''Auto OC'' and i heard it's Alright... but i would like to know if for someone who is new to this and would like to get a good result while being safe... should i just stay with the Auto OC or is it better to learn how to do it myself?

My system is Air Cooled with Noctua Fans, the case has a total of 4 14mm  and 2 8mm and below it's info from my system to give some context. Any information and input will be very much welcomed.

No, don't use auto oc. Linus does a overclocking guide you should have a look at. 30 mins long i believe. You can skip alot of it. It has a index. Ill get the link if someone else doesn't.

does this help?
