What is the difference between a 1/4 inch vs. 3.5 mm Jack?

Solved by creatip123,
Bigger size = more durable, more resistant against abuses. In principal, bigger size also allow more current to pass through it, but in headphones case, it make no difference, because headphones don't require big amount of current flow anyway.
