Why is my laptop showing single core and no ht in cpu z but in intel ark cpu boss etc shows dual core with ht ???? please help me

It may be a wrong reading, or maybe as it's a laptop, when you're not doing anything intensive, it disables cores for both temperatures and battery life.

Go into your BIOS and enable some sort of setting that turns on the second core. That's what I think is needed. Hyper-threading may be disabled as well if you only have one thread. You should have two threads with one core.
