Which is better in this pole?

You shouldn't really be comparing these two cards, you should be thinking of the 280/280x. The 280x is a bit cheaper than the 960 and is more powerful but is a cheaper made card, so you may run into cooling issues if over-clocking or running it pretty hard.

If you want build quality, go with a 960

If its raw power you want go with the 280X

Been playing on a laptop for 6 years, I play Dota 2 with 10fps. Some might say this is impossible, I say its just annoying

In my experience, Tahiti runs pretty cool and doesn't use that much power. My 7950 runs cooler and quieter than my 9800gt while using similar amounts of power.
