Hmm but out of the two... get whichever is cheaper... And if your big into overclocking then maybe the 960.

You shouldn't really be comparing these two cards,you should be thinking of the 280/280x. The 280x is a bit cheaper than the 960 and is more powerful but is a cheaper made card, so you may run into cooling issues if over-clocking or running it pretty hard.

If you want build quality, go with a 960

If its raw power you want go with the 280X

In my experience, Tahiti runs pretty cool and doesn't use that much power. My 7950 runs cooler and quieter than my 9800gt while using similar amounts of power.

I would say 960 but what prices are you looking at?

I would go with the 270 because it's like, $100 or less for not that much less performance compared to the 960. If I'm gonna spend $200 on a card, I'm getting a 280X or a 7970, efficiency or no efficency.

Yes what prices? 280 or 280x should be around a 960.
