Which Smart Watch? - Or should I wait?

TNortham112

Hi guys, I recently purchased a samsung galaxy s6 edge, and now I want a smart watch, the smart watches I have my eye on at the moment are:

Pebble Steel, Pebble Time, Moto 360 and the LG G Watch R.

Do I choose which watch I want out of those or should I wait and see the second generation of the Moto 360 and what Samsung have to offer later this year?

Note: I will have enough money to buy a smart watch by June/ July.

If anyone reading this owns one of the smart watches I have mentioned, it would be great if I could get your opinion on them.

I would honestly wait for the second generation Moto 360.

I would just wait for the 2nd generation of every smartwatch, these 1st gen ones are disappointment on a wristband honestly! The only ones that are decent are pebble and the new Huawei one, but that's it. Wait for next gen. :)

I have a Pebble Steel and personally love it, its nice and simplistic, I can get at least 5 days out of each charge and it does everything I need it to.

The question is, how much are you willing to spend on a smartwatch, because the Pebbles are sort of "budget" smartwatches.

If you have the extra money to spend get either of the LG G Watch R, or the Moto 360 gen. 2, depending on how good it is.

I would wait a generation or two for some problems to be ironed out.

I just bought the Cognac Leather Moto 360 yesterday, Best Buy had it for $70 off so I figured "what the heck." All of the problems I had with it when it launched have been fixed (IDK about battery life yet, today is my first full day with it). I went to a social event with it last night (before I could charge it all the way, it died halfway through the event, it was 8 hours long since I had to help set it up and tear it down, plus I got there early and left late) and got a ton of compliments from people who called it "slick", "classy" and "better looking than the iWatch [sic]." I really like it so far.

I second that. Moto 360 is a great watch but it needs a few tweaks. I'd wait for the second gen of it as well.
