Which cooling would be better for an AMD FX-6300

I'd get the H60, you will have lower idle temps, probably less noise and MAYBE a little more OC headroom. I personally didnt run my 1100t past 3.7ghz because temps would get on the high side, your results may vary though. 

 

Also, I do currently own both coolers.

Since the H60 is $50. I can get a Hyper 212 with a Noctua NF-F12 for $50. Would the 212 do better?

lets me see LTT tested a h212 with their watercooling stuff, might get some good info...

Kinda helped. I was just wondering if CPU temps will decrease if I use a Noctua NF-F12 on the 212.

depends on how much noise you want i guess, noctua will be quieter than stock CM fans but temps will be the same if rpm is equal. I guess its really up to you.

depends on how much noise you want i guess, noctua will be quieter than stock CM fans but temps will be the same if rpm is equal. I guess its really up to you.
