I just hooked up my new 5.1 system to my pc i got off a newegg flash and im not getting any bass or anything out of it. It all comes through clear and sounds nice but is insanely flat. I've tried everything but i cant seem to raise any of the levels other than just the over all volume. I'm definitely as intuitive with audio set ups as i am with PC hardware and such.

There should be an equalizer in your motherboard's audio control panel or in what ever audio device the system is plugged in to.

what system is it? A lot of the time there is a dial on the sub woofer to adjust the amount of bass.

I'd check the manual, it does mention having independent bass control but since there isn't an online manual I can't help anymore, sorry.

Start to the right, moving to the left, and start turning dials down in small increments until you get the bass you want.

Put your ears in front of the sub. If it's unusually quiet, then there's the problem. Gotta find a way to fiddle with the sub's loudness. Refer to the manual. Not mobo's but the speakers'.
