Has anyone ever seen a ps2 case being used for a PC? I was thinking about using a laptop motherboard ? Anyone got any ideas all help will be greatly appreciated :)

I don't think its possible because not even Mini ITX fits inside a PS2 Case. Sorry :P

The original PS2 was 12" x 7" x 3" externally. Mini ITX motherboards are 6.7" x 6.7". If you can carve out a space inside for it to fit, it can fit. Probably not though, I'd bet it has thick walls.

I could get a mini itx mobo and mount it to the top of the case I will use a laptop size HDD (sorry forgot size so didn't put size) dont know about fans and my main concern is fitting a PSU in that case .. Is there any way to use a laptop power brick or similar?

its all good i have found one on amazon but i am a bit confused as i am a noob when it comes to m-itx and small form factor stuff . so you need the power supply (that pico one) and then a power brick (like a laptop one) ? sorry for all the questions i really dont know what i am doing when it comes to small form factor builds  <_<

right basically the ps2 is way to small for all of the components i want , but i still really want to build this pc so does anyone have any ideas as to what i could use for a case? i have thought about an old standalone cd player? or a bigger console? really want your input (anyone reading this)  :D
