I wanna buy my gpu from newegg UK and was wondering will i have to pay an import charge or does newegg have a UK factory

Some of their products are shipped from the UK I think, but not many. After shipping, import and customs duties, it will be more expensive than buying it in the UK.

Well, shipping within the EU can work out better, but it will depend what it is. For the most part, computer parts are cheapest to just buy in your own country. For other things, it can be much cheaper.

The flat rate will be 20% tax, plus a handling fee and some customs fees. For a £300 GPU, you're looking at £100 additional costs at least.

But even in the EU its kinda strange since we in Austria have a Hard drive tax, which germany doesn't have so german shops don't ship HDDs and SSDs into Austria

I seen a good deal for a 290x on the UK variant and i wasnt sure if it was a UK based operation or if it was imported, now i know so bye bye newegg
