So, I've hit a rut on cooling in my office. In one corner, I have two servers running, both Dell (1x Poweredge 840, 1x Poweredge 2900)

The 840 is a test bench, but will eventually turn into my Web/Deployment server, where I store images for me to access elseswhere. The 2900 is currently my storage and home server for everything here in the office.

My problem is that the heat from those two boxes alone is excessive. I even have a wind tunnel fan blowing on them and I can see temps as high as 90-100 degress fahrenheit. The room becomes unbearable to be in. And unfortunately, I have my workstation and another in that room. It is also where I work on other electronics. Now, I found a slight improvement by putting a custom cover over the servers and having a 120mm exhaust hole out the back. So far, no excessive server heat to cause them to fail, still constantly checking. But, there has to be a way to keep these things cool quietly.

I can upload some pictures of the area a little later.

Any suggestions on keeping this small area cool quietly?

Maybe move them outside of your office and put them in some sort of storage shack?
In there you can create as much noise as you want.

That time I saved Linus' WiFi pass from appearing on YouTube:

Is there a window in the room? If so open it.

You could get A/C.

Open the door.

complain about how hot it is to management.

replace the fans in the servers with noctuas if possible.

Putting a fan on in a room will not make it cooler. you need to move the heat out the room somehow.
