so ugh.... where is this PC?

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

Hi guys,

I'm building this Pc with a friend, and was wondering if this was good (the tower budget is around $2.5K, but it is under which is good).

So what do you guys think? Any gaps? Should I improve anything. (the overall build is meant to be around $3K.)

follow your topics.

is it the PC listed in your profile? if so i would have gone DDR4 with that budget.

Check OP

yeah, with that budget i'd go DDR4, with a different MB & CPU

that's a huge price for a 980. i'd go 970 and spend more on the upgrade to DDR4 so that this rig will last longer.

Go with this it's much more powerful and sves more money. Also quieter. For gaming you don't need X99 or a 980.But however your budget can hold it dual 290 will rek a 980 any day

1. Change to i5 4690K, better buy an unlocked CPU for Z97

2. If you go for 980 better spend on a 1440p IPS screen instead

You could go with a custom loop with that kind of money left over.
