I only have reds, but they're plenty loud compared to my old membrane keyboard.

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Do they feel as good as the IBM ones?

They are exact same key switch, unicomp bought the patent.

They should feel exactly the same

I have two model Ms. A blue label and a grey label. The blue label has a much longer and less firm click than the grey label. I'm not sure whether or not it's due to age, wear or build quality, but they feel quite a bit different.

I think someone made a converter program for a Teensy board. Not sure if it'll work for a 122 key one though.

I'd pick one up if it didn't have a tall shift... I really like the look of the vintage keyboards with the greyish blue casings. Considered picking up a cheapy model M and modifying it

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it

I'm hoping that Unicomp makes a TKL version, the full size keyboard is too bulky

There is one

"IBM Model M Compact"

or sometimes is called Model M space saver or industrial, but usually compact

I know that IBM made the Model M SSK, it's just way too difficult to find and is usually expensive.

What I was suggesting was that Unicomp should remake it. I have no idea why they're not doing it now. Tons of people would buy it, very little needs to be redesigned, and you're using less materials = cheaper to manufacture.
