I like it for web-only use.

Nay to closed can't run all my software and I am not going to use workarounds to do basic tasks.

Windows laptops are in the same price range so why get a chromebook.

If all you use is Google Apps at work, or, Google drive/sheets/docs for word processing, it's fine. 

 

 

But, as mentioned, when you can get a windows laptop or tablet for the same price.....
