First pc build.

Looking to build my first pc over the summer. Will be used as a workstation for adobe applications as well as a gaming station.

I currently have my eyes on the i7-5820k and the Asus 980 strix gpu, on the asus x99 deluxe motherboard.

I currently own an LG 34UC97-S ultrawide 4k display, would this build be able to handle 4k gaming at ultra settings as well as run all my power hungry applications?

 

For case i will go with the NZXT H440 White/Black and the Kraken X61 liquid cooler. Tips would be much appreciated on this first build as it will be my main workstation (and of course gaming beast )

With a 980 you will have to turn settings down to high or medium for newer games

Get two 970 if you really need çuda.

I would recommend  two 290x or a 295x2 however.

Keep in mind that some programs that take advantage of cuda don't take advantage of sli.
