Panasonic G6, I have been using it for a few months now, it is a nice camera and the menu structure is easy to use.

If your looking for a great all round camera with a brilliant kit lens then the T5i or 700D as I know it is champ. The only issue with it is it's low light performance is weak. The Nikon D3300 is a little better.

The best advice I can give you is go to a shop and feel the cameras. I had my heart set on a Nikon D5300, but when I actually held it, it felt wrong and the Canon felt right. I ordered the Canon the next day.

Whatever camera you buy will do a great job but it needs to feel right in your hand.

Nothing to see here - move along.

Use Linus's massdrop link, then request to reactivate the Canon deal, and you can get a camera at $350USD Canon T5i or SL1

I would go for a Canon T3i. Great camera to start off with and is compatible with a wide range of lenses and accessories for future upgrades. I would also check out the Nikon side of things. Enjoy :)
