If your looking for a great all round camera with a brilliant kit lens then the T5i or 700D as I know it is champ. The only issue with it is it's low light performance is weak. The Nikon D3300 is a little better.

The best advice I can give you is go to a shop and feel the cameras. I had my heart set on a Nikon D5300, but when I actually held it, it felt wrong and the Canon felt right. I ordered the Canon the next day.

Whatever camera you buy will do a great job but it needs to feel right in your hand.

Nothing to see here - move along.
