im planning about buying new computer, with I5 4690 but not decided which motherboard yet

as far as i understood :

Z87/Z97 Are for guys who want to overclock

H87/H97 are for guys Who DONT want to overclock?

so if im not overcloking, the H97 will be similar to Z97 with the specs?

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

Z series gets more sata connectors and PCI devices.

Our Grace. The Feathered One. He shows us the way. His bob is majestic and shows us the path. Follow unto his guidance and His example. He knows the one true path. Our Saviour. Our Grace. Our Father Birb has taught us with His humble heart and gentle wing the way of the bob. Let us show Him our reverence and follow in His example. If you're getting only 1 HDD and only 1 GPU then it doesn't matter.

Also if you get a locked i5, you can save some money getting the i5 4460.

And as said, if you don't need more SATA ports (for more HDDs/SSDs) or PCI lanes (for additional cards (and more than 1) like RAID controllers, Wi-Fi Cards, etc...)) you can even get a cheap H81 mb.

I Want to have One HDD and one SSD

I will have probably 1 card, and after 2 years or so change it for a newer one

the question is wil motherboard (weeker ) prevent me a future upgrade?

Also 4690 and 4460 The diffrence is about 40-50$ for me, isnt it better to get the 4690?

and again, how hard is to do OC? and for how much % it can improve the performance

And what about the ASROCK?

could you also give me a good motherboard for like 80-100 which is NOT for oc

asrock... i suggest looking at their Fatal1ty series for red colour scheme

but if you cant afford those, get the H97 pro4 for blue color scheme dont get the H97 M unless you have space constraints

my system is a Z77 pro3 + i5 3570K and been running good and well for a few years now.... except the mosfet heatsink does get very hot without a fan pulling air over it

and i assembled a B85 Fatal1ty board + an i5 (exact model forgotten) middle of last year for my friend and he hasn't had an issue since then

my Z77 does  suit my sharkoon T28 case which blue internals

and my friends is a red scheme
