I know i just posted yesterday with a completely different build but since then, my grandmother gave me Easter money increasing my budget from 800 to about 1,000. (New Build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/PntGD3) Can anyone recommend a good budget PSU that will give me room for upgrades and SLI in the future?

I would go with EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2 it is fully modular and comes with 10 year warranty..now I know it is $20.00 more on newegg but it is well worth the extra money if you can come up with the extra money..It also comes with a $10.00 rebate card there is a $5.99 shipping but you only would still pay $115.98 for it shipped to you..

I'd avoid the CX series from Corsair. Once you go past 60% draw on them, they tend to fail rather spectacularly. Get an XFX 750W, they are around the same price and way more reliable. Or a Seasonic G series if you can afford it. The EVGA units are also very good. Only go Corsair if you're getting the RM or better.

The New Machine: Intel 11700K / Strix Z590-A WIFI II / Patriot Viper Steel 4400MHz 2x8GB / Gigabyte RTX 3080 Gaming OC w/ Bykski WB / x4 1TB SSDs (x2 M.2, x2 2.5) / Corsair 5000D Airflow White / EVGA G6 1000W / Custom Loop CPU & GPU

The Rainbow X58: i7 975 Extreme Edition @4.2GHz, Asus Sabertooth X58, 6x2GB Mushkin Redline DDR3-1600 @2000MHz, SP 256GB Gen3 M.2 w/ Sabrent M.2 to PCI-E, Inno3D GTX 580 x2 SLI w/ Heatkiller waterblocks, Custom loop in NZXT Phantom White, Corsair XR7 360 rad hanging off the rear end, 360 slim rad up top. RGB everywhere.

A high-end Delta build unit for $89.99 after MIR? Hell fuckin' yeah! Found a gift for my friend's build.

I would recommend this too, OP. Here's two review of the 850w version:

evga 750 g2, its like 100$, but kick ass and stuff.

EVGA 750G2 is not the answer to everything

@Aniallation, I was just stating they are very reliable PSU..

Should still give other options. Everyone on this forum worships the G2 like no tomorrow making it seem like it's the only good PSU out there, when there's options just as good for cheaper, because the G2 doesn't have big sales that often (if at all).

Fair enough I was just going by my own experience owning a EVGA,I have also had good luck with Corsair,Antec and Thermaltake. And he did state he was looking for at least a 750watt PSU and also figured he would want a fully modular PSU for cable management..

Here is couple he can also look at..some of these are not fully modular and are semi modular but there also good PSU around your price range..

CORSAIR CX 750W

SeaSonic 750W

Antec HCG 750W

Thermaltake Toughpower TPD-0750M

Thermaltake SMART Series 750W

CX and TT Smart are similar PSUs that are a different tier then tiers of the M12II/HCG (same platform) and TT ToughPower.

Although M12II/HCG and ToughPower are decent PSUs the TruePower Classic I posted above is still cheaper and will still mop the floor with any of these PSUs, as it's based on the higher quality Seasonic S12G platform.
