Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Main difference between ram kits pricing is the aesthetics, some kits have lighting built into their shrouds (I hesitate to call them heatsinks seeing as they really aren't even there to act as heatsinks).

 

Obviously if you buy really really cheap bargain bin ram, the ram may not have gone through as rigorous QC, so just buy from trusted companies and don't bother with the flashy looking kits unless you just wanna burn some cash.
