A variety of highly regarded apps for iPhone and iPad have gone free today in what could be a major celebration to mark five years since Apple launched the App Store. Not sure how long this will last. So far here are the games I found:

Infinity Blade II
Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP
Where's My Water?
Badland
Tiny Wings
Traktor DJ
Day One
Over
Barefoot World Atlas
Knots 3d
How To Cook Everything
LiquidSketch
MapMyRide+

 

Day 2

 

Peggle for iPod, iPhone and iPad.
Dead Space for iPod, iPhone and iPad.
Mirror's Edge for iPod, iPhone and iPad.
Flight Control for iPod, iPhone and iPad.
The Sims Medieval for iPod, iPhone and iPad.

I tend not to play games on my iPhone, and I have never heard of these apps.

Infinity blade is one of the best mobile games IMO.
