Posted April 1, 2015 Okay, so I have a desktop without any connection to the internet that is running Elementary OS "Version 0.2 Luna 64 Bit", and I have a laptop with a Centrino wireless adapter running Windows 8 that is connected to the internet. I was wondering if there was any way to share the internet connection from the Windows laptop to the Linux desktop using an Ethernet cable. If this is possible is there anyway that you could give me step by step directions to do so? Keep in mind that I do not have really any experience on this topic, Linux, or command prompts. Any help would be appreciated.

Posted April 1, 2015 Author Yes just YouTube, Internet sharing in Windows 8 Okay, so the gist of these videos is to bridge the Ethernet and WiFi connections together. I can get that far, but this seems to only work with other Windows devices. Is there another step after bridging the connections to get the Linux computer to connect?
