You can get the Crucial BX100 250GB for $120 in Canada. Thats what I would go for.

I'm pretty sure its supposed to be more of an entry level ssd. A better option would be the MX100 if you can afford it.

Honestly, the OP probably isn't going to notice too much difference between SSD speeds in day to day usage. The BX100 series is a budget line, so the reads/writes are not the fastest in the world, however very reliable and popular.

You can save a bit of money and get something like an OCZ Arc 100. It's only downside really is a lack of a super amazing warranty like Samsung or Kingston.

EDIT: Also, for under $100 you can get one with around 240GB storage.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

850 EVO uses the same NAND as the 840 evo, which is a peice of crap

But why is it a piece of crap?

Like everyone said, Samsung 850 evo is simply the best of the best (besides the M4 960GB).

But 850 Pro is better.....

Most m.2 drives are not that much faster since they are normal sata based ssd's anyway so your not losing much there(But it does look a lot cleaner using one as your only drive.)
