CPU testing

Can you test if a CPU is dead or not if you don't have the right mobo with the right socket? If so how?

Not software inspection no, which is shame but you can say look up a image of your CPU and compare it your's physically to see if everything seems ok. Its very rare to have a dead CPU, but it happens :mellow:
