Missing OS?

So I built my new rig

 

8350 CPU

R9 290 GPU

8GB DDR3 Team Elite RAM

Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 Mobo

WD 1TB Blue HDD

 

So, made a Win8 Boot USB, go into UEFI (1640 BIOS I think) and boot from USB and only get "Missing Operating System" in white on a black screen. 8GB PNY USB stick. Any ideas?

I've tried making it with Wubi, the Windows 7 DVD/USB boot maker, and Rufus, i've done so at least 4 times. Could it be a Bios version issue?

I doubt it. Try to install an Ubuntu Live Disc onto there and see if it works or not.

You have a corrupted ISO. Simply redownload it (sorry if you have balls internet....).
