Hello, I got new internet and now the only way that I can really play games and be in a Skype call is if I wire in. When I try to speedtest on wireless it starts off at like 23 then drops really fast to like 8. When I am wired in I get 55 then it stays around that. Anyone know why it may be doing this.

I've been on wireless for 4 years now and can honestly say that, while serviceable, it is not as fast as a cabled connection (duh!).  That said, I have not had any major problems gaming or streaming because of it!

Unfortunately wireless performance is hugely dependant on your setup and environment so without knowing a lot more its hard to say, I'd suggest googleing something like "optimising home wireless" or something similar to get an idea of some of the things you can do/watch out for.

Yea we need so much more info in order to give a accurate troubleshooting step I don't even know where to start. Go ahead and rewrite your question back out, this time the long way.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!
