The thing is that it was stable at one point so I don't get why it went down

It probably wasn't stable in the first place. You were just lucky it didn't crash, that's probably the only reason I can think of why you're suddenly having crashes

Hello, so I got a Gigabyte g1 970 in like January and I overclocked a little while later and since I overclocked the card doesn't go to the first clock I got which was 1613 core clock and 7800 memory when I played games. Now when I try to clock to that the driver crashes. Did I damage the card or something?

try increasing voltage

The 1613 is pretty high already, the crashes are happening probably because it's not stable at that speed. Try returning to the default clock speeds or decreasing your current speeds
