would i5 4440 bottleneck R9 280x vapor-x tr-x or R9 290x ?

and which processor wont even bottleneck at any situation with r9 280x vapor-x tr-x "budget : 185$" ?

also which psu will be good attached with r9 280x ?

these 2 psu suits my budget here in egypt prices so check them and tell me which one is better for r9 280x ?

How can a Quad Core i5, the top of Z97 Gaming, bottleneck a GPU? Of course it won't;

Get Bronze 80+, or more if you can.

AMD CPU's are not nearly as good as Intel's.

Basic guide to CPU's!

If I said I were 14, you would call me a kid. If I say 70, you’ll entitle me too old. If I say 20 you say I’m inexperienced and if I say 40 than I'm too boring.

How many Watts does your system need? (You can check this by starting a build on PC Part Picker)

If you want one of the both, go with the 80+ bronze one. It's always better.

Otherwise, the be quiet! System Power 7 500W should be better. It's cheaper than what you suggest (at least in Belgium), and it has 80 Silver instead of Bronze, which decreases your power bill.

There's also a 600 W version if you need it for not that much more.

If it helped, drop a like and/or mark as solved!

EDIT: the Be Quiet! is Multi-GPU ready, but isn't certified for SLI and or crossfire. Not sure if your suggestions do though.

Both of those PSUs are able to output more than 400W on the +12v rails, 12V being the voltage at which PSU delivers power to GPU and CPU (the most power hungry components in PC), which is why +12v rail/s matter.

I have a 290X + i5 4670k and my system hits max 400W, so obviously both of the PSUs you mentioned could power your system, however Seasonic Bronze 80+ 520w is more efficient, so I suggest you pick that one.

THANK YOU ! so 600w and 520w here doesnt matter? because i wonder why u said the 520w is better, also are u sure its 100% ! wont get any issue ? even if the gpu on heavy load ?

Wait a second, you asked about wattage and it's fine but, you didn't check the power connectors required by the 280X from the PSU. Let me see, it seems like that 520W PSU only has 1x6 pin and 1x8 pin...

http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/product_index.aspx?pid=2131&lid=1#

That's your card right?

It says there it needs 2X150 Watt 8-pin PCI Express power connectors.

And the 520W PSU has only 1X 6-pin and 1X6+2 pin.

http://www.seasonicusa.com/M12II-Bronze.htm

So it's no good. Even though the wattage is sufficient, it actually doesn't have the necessary connectors for your GPU.

@Akamii

Alright, lemme analyze both PSUs thoroughly.

Seasonic ECO 600W

-can't find it on Seasonic's official site, probably cause it's an old series

-according to  this image, it's actually able to do 552W on the +12v rails, which is more than enough wattage

-according to this image, it only has 1 x 6-pin, 1 x 8-pin connectors, and you GPU requires 2 x 8-pin

SeaSonic S12II Bronze 520W 80 PLUS

-it can do 480W on the +12v rails, which is more than enough W for your system

M12II-Bronze-03.jpg

-more efficient than Seasonic ECO 600W

-but has 1 x 6-pin, 1 x 6+2-pin, and your GPU requires 2 x 8-pin.

So turns out, even though both PSUs have enough wattage to power your system, they do not have the connectors your GPU needs. You're going to need to find a PSU that has 2 x 8-pin (or 2 x 6+2) power connectors, as well as enough wattage on the +12v rails.

Reread some of the messages, and even though you didn't really bother explaining it to me, here we go.

I've did some research on the site, and this Thermaltake PSU is in your budget and should suffice, depending on the other things in your rig.

It has 2x 6+2 pin connectors for your GPU

In the future, be a little more friendly and at least take the time to explain things to people that help you for FREE.

Source?

It says 6P / 8P here:

http://www.ocfreaks.com/imgs/seasonic-eco-600/eco_600_box_side2.jpg

Edit:

Looks like you're right and I misinterpreted 6P/8P. At one place on the box it says 6P/8P, then on another 2 x 6P/8P, and I guess they meant 2 x 6+2, but they should have made that clear. I'm sorry I overlooked it. Well then, you're good to go. The PSU has everything you need.
