Hey i am looking for a motherboard for what will be (hopefully) my first PC build. I am using an AMD FX 8350 or an AMD FX 6300 if money is tight. So far, i havent found a motherboard with anything i would like on it for my price. I am looking for a motherboard that is either black, or black and blue to match my build. My price range is about $60 maximum for the board. Any suggestions help. Thanks

Heres my build link: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/RWgrXL

I would suggest a 970A DS3P or go with above guys build. Although if you research the kingston SSDNOW they switched to a different controller so it gets VERY low performance for an SSD

I'm a fucking AMD kawaii weeaboo desu I have seen the light

I would suggest a 970A DS3P | also people need to stop fanboying Intel. For $120 my 8320 has yet to fall behind with my R9 270.

It's not called fanboy, it's called "maybe you should smarten up"

For the money AMD processors are not worth it, unless its super low budget

I don't mean fanboy in a literal sense, more in the not informed of AMD power. I wouldn't say AMD isn't worth it, I would say that for high end it's just not there. AMD and Intel passed power back and forth in the past, but lately AMD has yet to release anything new, but that doesn't mean they aren't worth it. For $130 you can't really get a better CPU on the intel side, because a new(er) FX chip will still destroy any i3 or lower end i5. I do agree however, that AMD really can't beat anything around a higher end i5 or up.

check you facts...the AMD FX-8350 can't even beat a core i3 in games...here:

This is a link to all the games they've tested in the year 2014...so all newer games...multi-threaded games and there's a summary where all the games are compiled into a monster graph at the end, here it is...pay attention to the clockspeed of the chips:

That motherboard is FM2+, an FX CPU requires AM3+, and the 990FX chipset if you don't want to throttle an FX 8350/FX 6300 or kill the motherboard. That being said, as mentioned above an i3 or an i5 is a better choice.

it is legit because of this:

Capture.png

http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i3-4330-vs-AMD-FX-8350/2876vs1489

Strong CPU cores is really important for games, and the FX doesnt offer that and in games it will always bottleneck itself long before it can spread it's legs...because gaming is all about speed and you can only be as fast as your fastest processing core, this one is processing the main thread from the game engine...and AMD's fastest CPU core is...well...really not that fast.

Also, CPU boss and CPU wolrd are total trash, never link those sites again.

The one i used is made of USER SUBMITTED RESULTS, you can even run the test yourself on your machine and submit your result if you want.
