I had a G10 +H90 AIO on my MSi 970 and temps where getting to 55 ish

I recently bought and added the EK waterblock+Back plate to my loop.

Now temps under load are getting to 60? The below video the guy gets 43 under load (yes i know he is using Gigabyte, but there shouldnt be a 20 degree difference between ours) and a guy in the comments is getting the same as him.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZULflvoR-IQ

Loop:

-360mm rad +240mm rad

-4690k CPu on loop

-100mm tube res

-Swiftech MCP 655 Variable speed

-using distilled water+ silver kill coil

What i have done:

-Remounted the block

-changed the order of the loop

-taken the pc out the case, on the desk (room temp is 22C)

-tried different speeds on the pump

I dont know what to do.. it just feel right

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 4GB Superclocked ACX 2.0 @1500mhz + 8000Mhz CPU: Intel Core i7 6700k Delided and Overclocked @4.8  MB: ASUS MAXIMUS VIII IMPACT  RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory CPU Cooler: Corsair HG10+ H90 +H90 CASE: Corsair 380T  Storage: 120GB Samsung Evo SSD + Crucail 256GB Mx100 + 2TB Seagate/  OS: Windows 10 64bit Power supply:  Corsair RM750

Did you correctly bleed the loop? Which pump speed preset are you using?

Yes it been bled a few times as i have changed things around.

As stated i have tried all the speeds

Something is definitely wrong, you should be hovering anywhere from 38-49 on the GPU with a custom loop like that.

what thickness are the radiators, what fans do you have on them?

Can you take pictures of the loop, and maybe make a paint drawing of how the water-flow in the loop goes?

they are 30mm thick, using SP 120's

Loop goes 240mm rad-> Res-> Pump-> GPU-> 360mm res-> CPU-> back to 240mm res

CPU Overclocked to 4.5 with 1.22V

GPU Voltage is stock

Hmm.. Something is definitely wrong.

Just for curiosity sake, if you flip the fans to push instead of pull, do the temps drop a lot?

What RPM are you running the fans at?

No difference, and push vs pull there shouldnt be a difference.

was playing now again and max temp msi said it got to was 70

Can I just ask how your VRM temps were with the G10?

Dont know, never checked

Odd. I have same rad space, and it works passively (no GPU) but adding a GPU and fans it should work...

I wonder if something is blocking flow somewhere in the loop, or inside the GPU block.

Are CPU temps OK still?

also, @airdeano will be up soon I think, and can help more than I can most likely.

You said the GPU was hot inside the case as well right? If you move the reservoir so it's higher up than the pump, does it help any?

i have the the msi gtx 970 with the ekwb full block it  took 3-5 days for the micro bubble to make it thur the card block once they are all gone my temps drop'd about 5-10 more then what it was before under load atm im stable at 30c under load   and how to do link images since its max size is 2mb here and all my pics are 5-10mb dam hd camera and cant use imgur ?

this is what i mean this was 2 days in

if your temps dont improve reseat the block my guess is either you have bubble stuck in the block somewhere which u cant see /or something didnt go together just right .

edit one other thing which version of the 970 pcb do you have not all of them work with the ek blocks 1, 1.1,2 work version 3 pcb i believe doesnt

Ye i think its that and that i use SpeedFan, i changed the GPU fro mthe top slot on the MB to the second one and my speedfan curves had to be redon, so fans where running at 0-300RPM

Will do more testing and see

HOW are you load temps 30 under load!! @gamerking ?

what is your rooms temp...

i have a triple 120  and a dual 120 rad in push pull  both about 30mm thick and a 4820k @ 4.5 ,gpu is  + 250 +250  so about 1500 and 3758 room temp is about 70f  fan only run at about 10-30% pwm d5 pump with bitspower top and res adapter 250mm height i use open hardware monitior to pull temps/ voltages / aquasuite which is what control my fans/pump

software interface

ive spend way too much on this pc for the parts =( my wallet cries
