[Build Complete] Quantum Lunchbox

This is my first time posting on the LTT forum, but I thought I would show off my recent Ncase m1 build.

(Correct me if i'm wrong in any of my post formatting or missing information.)

 

I bought the pp05-e cable kit and shortened them to fit into the case without having a large rats nest.

The loudest thing in the case is the power supply which sounds like a jet, so I have been trying to find a 

decent fan to replace it with or mod a full 25mm thick 80mm or 92mm fan.

 

 

Components:

 

• Case: Ncase m1 v3. 
• Cpu: i7490k
• Cpu cooler: Phanteks PH-TC14CS_RD
• Mobo: Asus impact vii
• Ram:  kingston blu 4x2 1600
• Gpu: Evga GTX 980
• storage: Samsung 850 evo 1tb
• Power supply: Silverstone sfx 450

That looks indeed like a very tight fit, but it looks quite pretty

How are the temps in the thing?

Currently I dont have any of it over clocked, but the cpu idles around 25c and the gpu idles about 50c since the fans aren't spinning and I don't have any fans under it.

In Battlefield Hardline the cpu runs about 50c and the gpu is about 60c when the fans start spinning. I haven't ran any benchmarks or tests to max out thermals so that's all I can say for now.

That fan looks super out of place, you should paint it to the color scheme.

I'm planning on swapping out that fan anyways since its quite loud (and doesn't match).
