Should I pick up a pair of Gaming Glasses for $28

Go to solution Solved by Ganz,

No, if you want the yellow tint of the glasses to save your eyes, get a program called f.lux.  Does the same thing only free.

Hi, I have recently been noticing eye fatigue after long gaming sessions and was browsing some websites for gaming eyeware. I came across a pair of

Gunnar Optiks SteelSeries Desmo's

http://www.bidorbuy.co.za/item/177444750/Gunnar_Optiks_SteelSeries_Desmo_Advanced_Video_Gaming_Glasses.html

I can buy them for 350 ZAR which is about $28.

Anyone own them ? If so are they comfortable and do they work well ?

Thanks guys

I'd go for it, they do help

I use both f.lux and gunnars.

28$ is dirt cheap, I might buy an extra pair lol.

you'll find most of the people that say they're useless/dumb have never used them.

If your eyes hurt during gaming, or if they start to be sore after long gaming (which mines does). I would but otherwise, I wouldn't cause it's like buying a racing sticker for your car. It does nothing but stand there.

The time you enjoy wasting, is not wasted time.

It literally doesn't. There's was no difference when I tried it for a week.
