You could run it with 2GB if you wanted to. You don't need to upgrade. 

 

It's a typo on their site. The correct info is in the manual: http://www.nvidia.com/content/geforce-gtx/GTX_TITAN_X_User_Guide.pdf

It says it requiers "24 GB system memory (48 GB or higher recommended)" 

i have 12GB of Corsair Doms 2800 does that mean i need to upgrade me ram? 

 

 

 

Im pretty sure linus test bench only has 16 or something and that worked so u should be fine me guesses!

Nope, fairly you can use the titan x with a system with only 8GB of RAM, probably even 4GB or lower too. (Not that you'd want to, I'd say 8-16GB is a good amount.)
