I'd go with the G1, it's a beast.  (Unless saving money is an issue, in which case get whichever ones are cheaper)

What resolution will you be playing at?

So I'm building a new pc soon and i want to get 2 980s but I am not sure what companys one to get I was looking at the gigabytes g1 gaming and the EVGAs AC2.0 but Im not sure which one to get.

BTW I will take into consideration other companies you guys suggest

The ACX 2.0 is nice and a good bit smaller than the G1's, EVGA gets my vote.

Bert & Ernie before squirting spermie.

The G1 Gaming if money is no issue. But question is why do you need 2, what will you be doing that you need SLI 980s?

I had a G1 970 for a while, and if that's anything to go by then I can say firmly it's a fantastic card. The build quality is great, the card is near-enough silent under both idle and load, the cooler is better than its competitors, and Gigabyte also have great warranty service, so you'd not be left hanging should something go wrong.

I'm a bit disappointed by my GTX 780 windforce gigabyte.

Yea.. The cooler is good.

My card's power limit can't go any further. I've only got 105%. so so sad...

Even my reference GTX 680 can do better than that.

I heard that evga cards can be overclocked like crazy.

I vote for evga!

gigabyte cause of thier better noise reduction and better cooling (according to jayztwocents)

Yes. But he doesn't cater for the 1%, as he said himself, that use above 1080 resolution. I use 2560x1600, so I saw no point in subscribing to him after he said that. Maybe I'll subscribe again if that fact changes.
