so my friend has a system he built a while back it has a athalon 860k and an r9 270. i am planning on giving him my spare r9 270 later this year so he can cross fire it. how do i address the micro stuttering and such that comes along with that? i want him to have as smooth of an experience as posable. he doesn't have really any money to spend on the system but i may have spare parts and such i can give him.

if i were you id just sell them both, then he can just buy a better single card because tbh theres not much point in xfiring 2 mid-low end gpu's

does his motherboard support crossfire ?
but even if the answer is yes his cpu will be a bottleneck for couple of 270s .
it would also be good to know what power supply he has .

I never had any issues with CFX. I get about the same performance as any top end card (R9 290 or somewhat close to GTX 970)

cx 600 is a mediocre unit , but it is cabable to handle two r9 270s .
however it would be better to buy stronger single video card as mentioned above .
