760 or 770 for 1080p gaming?

Hi guys i was wondering which card would be best for gaming at 1080p all latest games such as bioshock tomb raider grid 2

 

At the moment i have HD6870 i get around 30-35 fps on ultra on those games

My PC specs are CPU: 6700k @4.7Ghz Ram: 16GB Corsair RGB Pro GPU: RTX 2070  PSU: RM650 CPU cooler: corsair H150 Case: corsair Motherboard: ASUS Z270 Pro SSD: 1tb Samsung 970 EVOand SK Hynix 1TB

What kind of gaming are you after? Current config? Budget? The 770 is obviously better but it may be overkill depending on your needs.

If you have the budget, go for the GTX 770. As a comparison, the 770 essentially replaces the 680, and the 760 replaces the 660ti. You will definitely get better performance with the 770.

yeah the one i linked to was the cheapest with double/triple fans: £319.98

May i ask, why not 7970 Ghz edition? Similar price to GTX770, plus u get Never Settle Reloaded games.

i7-4930k   3xEvga gtx 780OC DC2 3gb    32gb corsair vengeance 2133mhz    asus rampage 4 extreme black  ~2 tb of ssd space

 my speedtest 1932mbit down / 497mbit up  custom water cooled

it would be a stretch but u would have to turn of aa and a few things but if u have any benefit from cuda get a 680 if not a 770

i have bioshock already would i get any benefit in video editing from AMD cards as i thought nvidia was better for that becasue of cuda cores

680 is out of my price range  most of them are £364-£384

Between those 2 cards, the 770 will perform better than the 760. The 760 will still do just find at 1080p gaming.

both of those cards would be fine but 770 will perform better and looks so much better.

Depend on what software u will be using, future Adobe software will support OpenCL so that will benefit AMD GPUs as well.
