2011-v3 build

Ryxios

I am building this system for a friend his budget is about CHF 2k up to 2.5k

Since he is willing to pay that much I thing DDR4 and a 2011-v3 socket is appropriate...

What do you guys think of this list?

He chose the case so I can't change it... even if its way to big xD

The Things I am thinking about are the CPU and RAM I really don’t know a thing about this platform...

greez

@Ryxios getting the x99 platform when you're not a dev/g.artist/streamer is pretty much a waste of money. The difference in performance you get is pretty much negligible in games.

Rather than buying from x99 platform go for the z97 one and use the extra money for a better monitor, sli, great headphones, or a nice chair.

Ok Thanks for all the comments.

Going to use the 4790K used it for some other builds as well but there was a lower price limit of something around 1.5k

Build will still not be cheap because of some fancy components... but I know he is going to like it :P
