Hmm. Try clicking on prof 1 again then exiting.

I have research this topic many times before but still haven't found an answer. I have read things about xmp profiles but I can't find them in my Asus Maximus hero VII motherboard's bios. Anyone who knows how to solve this please tell...

System specs are in my profile.

Check in the BIOS. I had the same issue with my 1866Mhz running at only 1600Mhz. Look in the jumper free settings for ASUS mainboards. It won't hurt to to a little looking in the BIOS.

Go to the overclocking menu in the UEFI and search for the XMP profile.

Go to the simple bios and where it shows your ram speeds, it'll offer XMP options.

Honestly it isn't that big of a deal as the speeds of ram really don't have an effect. I would say only continue to search through if it bugs you that much that your RAM isn't running at the speed it is supposed to even though it doesn't have an effect.
