Hey guys, im looking for a good mouse, I play lots of different genres of games but mainly FPS. I want a mouse that is comfortable and not to many buttons as they are uneeded (two side buttons are nice) I was looking at the Sensei RAW by Steelseries which i would've bought, but it had buttons on both sides of the mouse, from owners of the Sensei RAW are those buttons that uncomfortable or a nuisance? Thank you.

if you look for a V shaped mouse (for left/right handers) take a look at the Roccat Kova[+] otherwise you may look at the Roccat Kone Pure OR if you want a Optical mosue at the Roccat Kone Optical.

All those are excellent mouses, and I do own the Kova[+] and have absolutly no issues with Glue leaking, as some people report

It disables the use of the two side buttons in Battlefield 3. I uninstalled Synapse so I could medkit/defib spam. :)

Yeah, im looking to play Battlefield so that may be useful.

I love my deathadder its just razer synapse is TERRIBLE.

Yes it is, i currently have a blackwidow, i feel your pain.

Just don't install Synapse. Macros are not worth it. You can adjust the sensitivity from within windows/individual games. This mouse is really amazing its just I am not a fan of Synapse.

And hey! I just ordered my BlackWidow today!

Our profile pictures are the same, we have virtually the same rigs, and the same peripherals, this is some Bioshock Infinite shenanigans going down.

as another user stated the roccat line is awesome, i personally prefer the kone+ its what ive been using and has served me very well between fps mmo and other genres :)

Yeah, the Kone+ seems good and the Kova, i really like them unfortunately they are laser though. D: (I know there is a Kone optical, but im leaning towards the Kova)

Yah but why buy a mouse and not use the macros, I mean it seems silly to me.

personally i like laser but of course its a matter of performance, i just really love that there are so many macros available right at your finger tip and there are so few buttons, its a really clean looking mouse with a large amount of comfort becuase in my opinion its shaped and weighted perfectly, i have a very similar size of hand to linus just for reference and i very comfortably palm this mouse

Gross!

You don't need macros! Macros rarely improve your gameplay unless you are a hardcore WoW player.

I just bind the forward/back buttons on my deathadder to 3 and 4 in Battlefield 3 so that I can drop medkits and get out my defibs while I am running.

Other than that I think mice with 300 buttons on them are kinda silly. You don't need to be able to control a freaking space station just from your mouse.

just got a logitech G710+ :)

great keyboard. Using it and have no problems with it. I would recommend the G400/G400S as your mouse since it is a great gaming mouse with their software.
