Hey guys,

I am currently building my first PC and I have a problem. I don't know which PSU I should get:

That's my system:

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor

CPU Cooler: Swiftech H240-X 90.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

Motherboard: Asus MAXIMUS VII FORMULA ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

Memory: Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2400 Memory

Storage: Samsung 850 Pro Series 512GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

Storage: Western Digital BLACK SERIES 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 980 4GB STRIX Video Card (2-Way SLI)

Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 980 4GB STRIX Video Card (2-Way SLI)

Are 760 Watts enough if I want to overclock?

Since you're wanting to overclock, I'd say to go toward 1000W if you can afford it -- you're going to be looking at around 200 USD for such a PSU. At minimum I'd say go for an 850W. Check out JohnnyGuru.com for reviews.

Wife's build: Amethyst - Ryzen 9 3900X, 32GB G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4-3200, ASUS Prime X570-P, EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 12GB, Corsair Obsidian 750D, Corsair RM1000 (yellow label)

My build: Mira - Ryzen 7 3700X, 32GB EVGA DDR4-3200, ASUS Prime X470-PRO, EVGA RTX 3070 XC3, beQuiet Dark Base 900, EVGA 1000 G6

Something above 800 watts would do great, if you plane on upgrading or something, might consider getting more wattage then.

Overclocking with 2 980s.  Wouldn't say wayyyyy overkill.  While yes it is more than he needs it allows proper headroom, on a good quality psu for a good price ($159.99 w/ MIR)
