I don't know which to chose.

I like to game and edit and love performance.

I had 7 but then decided to upgrade to 8.1 and now I consider to go back .

I consider of going back because I think 7 perfomance better and look better but on the other hand I 'm already use to windows 8 and apperantly its better for gaming

what do you guys think?

8.1 is just better under the hood than 7 is, especially when you adjust to the gui differences (or use 3rd party software to make the transition easier like start8 and ribbon removers) it's a breeze to work with.

8.1

8.1

8.1 because the performance is actually better. And File History is a lot better than Windows Backup.

8.1 is just better under the hood than 7 is, especially when you adjust to the gui differences (or use 3rd party software to make the transition easier like start8 and ribbon removers) it's a breeze to work with.

Windows 8.1 as Windows 7 is built on the mess that was Vista. It's in every way heavy and bulky like Vista was. Windows 8.1 has an all around better kernel that even cuts system requirements in half for the x64 flavor.

8.1 hands down for me, I still have 7 at work and its starting to annoy me, both are decent but 8.1s better IMO.

Would never go back to 7, 8.1 all the way.

Like everyone else here. 8.1

Couldn't go back to 7 at all. Use it at work & down right sucks.

Win 8.1

I have win7 on 2nd ssd drive as the time I wasn't sure of Win8

In all benchmarks tests file transfers win8 wins hands down

when win10 is available i will upgrade my win7 ssd

8.1
